Welcome to Accent Care Home & Hospital Services. We are twelve year old company who prides themselves in aiding Manitobans in the home care field. Accent Care offers many types of services ranging from Occupation Therapy, Nursing, Heath Care Aides, Home Support Workers and Companions. Our team is able to assess levels of need by providing an Ergonomic Risk Assessment, Personal Care Assistance Assessment and Home Safety Assessment. An Ergonomic Risk Assessment may be provided to assess level of care needed for both patient and caregiver to reduce injuries. We are considered a home care agency which means we provide individualized service to our clients in their home, hospital or personal care facility setting within the province of Manitoba. This service is may consist of bathing, dressing, performing Activities of Daily Living ( ADL’s), such as toileting, hair care etc, light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparations, accompanying to appointments and /or shopping, post-surgical care, whatever is needed to maintain the level of independent living they desire. All of our staff are bonded, and have current clear Criminal Record Checks as well as other certifications. We are able to place services within 2-3 hours upon receiving an approval. President of Accent Care Home and Hospital Services 2006 Inc., graduated in 1992 from the University of Manitoba Faculty of Dentistry. After graduating, he practiced in rural Manitoba for 2 years before returning to Winnipeg. In 1998 Vaughn opened Kilcona Dental Centre. He has enjoyed being a dentist full time for 21 years and has treated patients through MPI for TMJ trauma as well as dental trauma. Dr. Rattai is now practicing part time and using his extra time to help develop a more comprehensive treatment facility for clients which will look after more of their needs in one location to help streamline care. This includes nurses, occupational therapy, physiotherapy (planned) as well as health care aides and home support workers for the client. In his spare time Vaughn enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, and is an avid fisherman.

Vice President/Director of Services at Accent Care, is a Herzing College graduate in Business Administration. He has been certified in Sales and marketing through the University of Manitoba’s Commerce Department. Nelson has over 12 years in management and recruiting. He oversees the day to day operations at Accent Care Home and Hospital Services. In his spare time he is active in both ice hockey and ball hockey as a goal tender. He brings his passion and team player mentality to the workplace.

Director of Finance & Payroll, has a post secondary education as a certified accountant from Red River College and is a certified graduate from The Canadian Payroll Association with a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation. Ana has had over 20 years in the accounting and payroll industry. While her main focuses are on the company's financial and payroll departments, she is also involved in the day to day operations of Accent Care and willing to help out in other departments. In her spare time she is very much involved in the life of her children and she loves quiet evenings at home with her family. She also loves to travel and show her children new and exciting places. She has volunteered for over 6 years in the Portuguese community. Ana still enjoys a sit down session with a really good book.
